Spring 2009 - Arnot Tower for Sale

After over a decade of enjoying Arnot Tower as our family home, opening the gardens and hosting weddings, we have put the house, castle and gardens on the market.

The Victorian country house (1878) has seven bedrooms, three bathrooms, three w.c.s, a dining room, drawing room, study, cinema room, lower hall, upper hall, kitchen, back kitchen, utility room and gun room.  The house has the most amazing views west to Loch Leven and the Ochils.

The house sits at the centre of ten acres of wonderful gardens and woodland, with a ruined castle (ca. 1420, and the ancient seat of Clan Arnot) with a scented courtyard garden, water gardens with fountains and rill, games lawn, bluebell woods, and a kitchen garden with polytunnel and shed.  There is also a paddock with stabling.

The new owners may or may not continue to open the gardens and host events, so we regret that Arnot Tower is no longer available as a venue for weddings or other events.  We will continue to welcome garden visitors throughout summer 2009 on Tuesdays only, from 10am to 5pm.  We are also open under Scotland's Gardens Scheme on Sunday 17 May 2009 from 2pm to 5pm, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
