Regular Garden Open Times – Tuesdays in summer from 10am to 5pm
Arnot Tower Gardens are now closed for the winter. We reopen to the public every Tuesday between Tuesday 6 May and Tuesday 28 October 2008, between 10am and 5pm. Entry costs £3.50, and there is ample free parking. Sorry no dogs.
Arnot Tower Gardens are also open by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to garden groups and horticultural societies. Entrance is £10 per head, and minimum numbers of 20 people are requested. A group visit starts with an illustrated slide presentation about the development of the gardens (30 minutes), followed by an accompanied tour of the Gardens. Each visitor is given a map of the Gardens, and a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink and nibbles are served on the Italianate Terrace to conclude the visit. Evening visits may be arranged to view the garden illuminations.
"The work done to date makes Arnot Tower Gardens an exciting new addition to Scotland's great gardens"
Jim McColl of the BBC's Beechgrove Garden
"On behalf of the ladies of Kirkliston WRI we would like to thank you for a very enjoyable evening on Tuesday of last week. What a super night we had. The slideshow was superb: everyone loved to see the before and after. The wine was a lovely extra while we took in the amazing views.
Then high tea at the Lomond Country Inn - what a beautiful setting and the meal was delicious, everything was perfect even the drive to and from. A few said to me in the Inn that it was our best trip so far. I was delighted as I feel it is a big responsibility to get their night out special and Tuesday certainly was. I thank you again and I will certainly recommend you to all our rural groups in our federation."
