Gardens at Night
A unique feature of Arnot Tower Gardens is the exquisite
garden lighting that transforms the Gardens from dusk
onwards, all year round.
Subtle lighting picks out meandering pathways through
the woods and highlights the sculptural qualities of
trees and shrubs. Lights strung high up in the canopies
of trees throw pools of moonlight to the paths below.
The lighting creates intimate and romantic spaces in
which to linger, before being lured onwards to discover
the next magical effect.
The Tower and ruins are lit with drama and imagination.
The Tower itself stands in stark outline against the
night sky, while narrow beams of light graze the courtyard
walls, picking out the texture of the stone.
At night, the water garden is at its most magnificent.
The fountains send sparkling jets of water high into
the air, glittering like diamonds against the dark.
