South Stair

The south stair leads from the water garden up to the Italianate terrace in front of the main house. The beds are edged with clipped box hedging and the colour scheme of blush pink and deep purple is taken from the magnificent tree rhododendron and the copper beech which frame this part of the Garden. Decorative railings separate the west terrace, with its idyllic views over Loch Leven to the Ochil Hills beyond, from the west lawn.
