The Garden Map

The grounds comprise ten acres of gardens and mature ornamental woodland which surround the ruined 15th century Arnot Tower.

At the heart of the Gardens lies the magnificent formal water garden with elegant fountains and jets. The south stair leads from the water garden up to the Italianate terrace with idyllic views over Loch Leven to the Ochil Hills beyond.

January 2008 sees the start of work on the Victorian kitchen garden to the north of the house (the four large pink squares on the map).  This 1/2 acre site will become a paradise of fruit, vegetables and, most importantly, a demonstration garden for growing wonderful, unusual and interesting cut flowers.  Consolidation work on the ruined castle will also take place this year.
